Step Two - Wireless Communication

Situated up to 500 feet away from the monitor, the TankScan^® controller combines with the TankScan monitor to create a complete remote tank monitoring system. The TankScan controller directs systems communications between the level monitor and host database. The fluid level controller receives all tank level measurement data points from the tank level monitor and stores the data in a log via RF measurement technology.

Through a built in landline modem, the TankScan controller relays the datalog to the host computer or system on a preset call-out schedule, an emergency call-out (alarm), or in response to a call-in from the host.

Each TankScan controller can monitor and gather data from up to 30 separate tanks per site. The controller is intended for indoor enclosure. As each TankScan site is different, our trained staff work closely with our customers to design the best placement for their remote tank monitoring system.
