Challenge
With a large field footprint and services deployed across multiple remote locations, accurate chemical inventory management is critical to ensuring consistent treatment programs and minimizing operational inefficiencies. Prior to implementing TankScan, monitoring chemical tote levels was a manual, time‑consuming process.

Field personnel had to travel long distances to measure inventory and record levels manually. This approach consumed valuable labor hours, increased wear and tear on vehicles, and made it difficult to maintain consistent accuracy. With operations spread across remote sites, the lack of real‑time visibility made proactive inventory management challenging.

Solution

In 2025, Imperative Chemical Partners installed the TSRT880 Non-Contact Radar level monitors on remote chemical totes in Wyoming. TankScan provided real‑time remote visibility into chemical tote levels, allowing operators to track inventory without physically visiting the site. The system was easy to install and involved sticking the level sensors on top of the chemical totes. The AquaPhoenix Intelligence Platform (AIP) sends text and email alerts when levels drop below a preset threshold. Imperative Chemical now has remote visibility to schedule proactive, just-in-time deliveries and eliminate emergency runs. Installation was quick and straightforward, enabling rapid deployment in the field.
